The last time I exercised before joining Fitt Gym was before I had my son 15 years ago. My Personal Trainer has helped me transition from not exercising to doing things that I never thought were possible.
In the last 6 months I have lost the weight that I wanted, more than 10 lbs and lost a total of 9 inches. I feel that my body is shaped, toned and I can leg press 225lbs!
My son who does not like sports and use to only play video games, has more confidence in sports and life. It has surprised me how much of change it has made to him. My Daughter who has a physical limitation now feels comfortable exercising. She feels that she can concur the world and push herself to be happier and more active.
Our personal trainers have guided us through exercise and taught us to workout correctly. This has helped us achieve our goals. Moreover, our personal trainers have helped us with our food intake to create a balanced diet.
Exercise and common goals have made us feel closer as a family. My children feel more confident in sports, have more energy, seldom get tired and are happier.

Over the last 6 months I have accomplished self gratitude from working out to feel healthier by joining a gym. I have never been in a gym or even knew the first thing about one.
My trainer showed me that it is ok to come to a gym! Second, she showed me the right way to use the equipment and to do the exercises. Third she helped me realize my goals and reach them and last but not least she pushed me beyond my goals and showed me I can do things I never thought possible.
It would have to be the one on one attention. She got to know me personally and knew what “buttons” to push. I looked forward to each sessions not knowing what I was going to do or learn and that kept it interesting as well as challenging. Even now after the training is done, she is still helping me out and encouraging me on. It’s like having your own personnel cheerleading squad!

I successfully lost 75Lbs in the past 20 months thru consistent discipline and hard work while learning and developing new fitness, health and nutrition habits.
I lost the first 40lbs on my own in the first 9 months using the eat less, move more approach. I was feeling really good about my accomplishments, but then plateaued for several months. No matter how much I increased the frequency and intensity of my workouts I could not get the scale to budge. I was beginning to get really discouraged.
Then my wife started working with Barbelles coach Tara and was having incredible results learning and developing new habits. That’s when I reached out to coach Ashley. Ashley taught me the importance of macros while helping me determine mine and showing me how track them in a convenient way.
There’s a saying, “you cannot out work a bad diet.” I thought I was eating well because I cut out sugar and most junk food. But I was wrong. Turns out I was eating WAY too many carbs and not nearly enough proteins. Once we got that sorted out the next 35lbs just melted off. I’ve passed my goal weight and now the focus is on building muscle while continuing to burn fat.
The most important thing I learned is that this is not a fad diet with a focus on losing weight. This process is about developing sustainable healthy habits that work with my health and fitness goals. It’s all about balance and moderation. I make healthier food choices while allowing for “fun foods” 10-15% of the time. I still indulge and have pizza and chicken wings. I just need to make them fit within my plan.

In January 2024, I joined a program that changed my body composition and the way I think about food. Post menopause, my weight had creeped and I found it difficult to lose those unwanted pounds and keep them off.
Ashley’s program is a way to approach food in a healthy, sustainable and forever way. Over the year, I focused on protein and balanced macros and never thought about being on a diet. Weekly feedback was positive and kept me on track. Slow and steady fat loss was my goal and combined with strength training, I was successful losing 25 lbs over 11 months. My energy level is high and I feel great!
